Ian Davies joined GICLM 3 years and has worked in schools across the UK, Malawi, Poland, Russia and Indonesia for over 30 years. He was chair of the Indonesian IB Schools network, IB country ambassador and is an IBEN approved educator and examiner. He has received several international awards for service programmes and was invited to the White House to receive the US Presidential Teachers Award for his outstanding contribution to teaching. A passionate teacher of History and Theory of Knowledge, his interests revolve around the classroom and pedagogical practices. He is especially interested in learning, teaching, leadership, values education, international-mindedness /cultural education and the International Baccalaureate (IB).
